Description

Join Aerial cinematographer, director and photographer Randy Scott Slavin for a discussion of the use of Drone technology for cinematography. Randy will be showing some examples of his work and will be discussing the numerous issues that surround the use of drones for all aspects of aerial photography.

Presenter:

Randy Scott Slavin is a director, photographer and aerial cinematographer based in NYC. Slavin first gained attention for his aerials with the viral video AERIAL NYC which was featured by Time, Fox News, Gizmodo, Mashable and many other premier press outlets around the world. He is also well known for his surreal landscape photography series ALTERNATE PERSPECTIVES and NYC UNPLUGGED as well as directing commercials, branded content and music videos for American Express, NJOY, Atlantic Records, Tribeca Film Festival , AT&T, Bank of America and others. In Mid 2014 Slavin founded the New York City Drone Film Festival, the world’s first film festival exclusively dedicated to aerial cinema, with the hopes of bringing more positive attention to the art of aerial cinematography.
